A very busy e-Christmas
Tuesday, January 5th, 2010Since its aquisition by CDL Logistics in April 2009 iMS Fulfilment and Distribution has gone from strength to strength since becoming the specialist e-commerce fulfilment site for the CDL Group. A host of new e-tailers meant that Christmas 2009 saw the highest volume of orders ever processed. The iMS team would like to thank all Clients both old and new for showing faith in the business which can only look forward to a great 2010.
Order spares online
Saturday, October 10th, 2009In October iMS were contacted by a Chinese exporter of computer spares. They required a fulfilment house capable of linking its online ordering directly from their website and providing detailed tracking reports. iMS using IFS (Integrated Fulfilment System) were able to meet all these requirements and after some clever work by our IT people to cope with the code variations between languages we went live within 2 weeks. Volumes have grown significantly in a short period of time and now the exporter is looking to double their product range.

Monday, August 24th, 2009iMS Fulfilment & Distribution are now providing bespoke fulfilment services for an e-tailer who offers essentials kits to University Students. The theory may sound simple but with over 50 variable items going into each kit acurate picking and packing is essential and of coarse they are all needed at the start of term so managing resource is critical.
